Stable Isotopic Labelling
What is it?
Stable isotope labelling is used as a reference when measuring the amount of a drug molecule in a biological sample.
How does it work?
A copy of the molecule is produced that contains isotope-labelled atoms, which are distinguished during mass spectrometry. The labelled molecule works as a reference for comparison to the mass spectrum from the original molecule; this enhances the accuracy of the measurement.
Why choose Arcinova?
Through our history in drug development, we have a fundamental understanding of how to best fit our services in the development pathway. We have supported a multitude of bioanalysis studies for a diverse range of molecules and therefore understand what is needed for project success.
