Job Description

We are are currently recruiting for an HR Advisor to help support the existing HR team and add value across the business. This is a newly created role and an exciting opportunity to join an innovative and growing organisation

The role will be varied and you will support the HR Managers with day to day HR operations to include:

  • Working with the HR Managers to support business objectives and promote a positive working culture
  • Providing advice and guidance to managers with any HR related matters, including policies and procedures
  • HR administration / transactional operations to include 1st Line HR support for absence management, grievances, disciplinaries, note-taking
  • Working with external talent partners to assist with recruitment and onboarding – writing and issuing contracts and managing new starter inductions
  • Training and development to include general operations, best practice and continuous improvement
  • Advising on staff development & continuous professional development including utilising apprenticeship levy funding
  • Being a champion for employee engagement - Helping to drive improvement through promotion of Arcinova's vision and values and implementation of action plans and initiatives
  • Proactively promoting wellbeing within the business
  • HR and KPI monitoring and reporting

Key skills & qualifications relevant to the role

Essential

  • A driven and proactive generalist HR professional, used to working in a “hands-on” and operational role
  • CIPD qualification, HR / Business degree (or equivalent)
  • Experience working in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Excellent administrative, organisational and time management skills
  • Proven relationship building and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient using IT systems Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

Desirable

  • Previous experience working in a pharmaceutical or regulated environment
  • Experience assisting with systems integration
